Service One

Aquatic Maintenance

We don't clean pools—we maintain and maximize the water so it remains in peak condition year-round. Proactive stewardship is impossible under the reactive methods used by many pool professionals. We use the Langelier Saturation Index because the nationwide standard ranges commonly followed in the industry can make true water balance impossible. B&B stewards use AI, historical data, and digital readings measured to one-tenth of a part per million to stabilize, balance, and sanitize each client's pool.

Digital Readings

We use the LaMotte WaterLink Spin Touch 3581 to perform digital water testing. Results are uploaded directly to your account, and our balance calculations draw substantially from John A. Wojtowicz's ‘A Revised and Updated Saturation Index Equation,’ published in the Journal of the Swimming Pool and Spa Industry.[1]

LSI-Based Balancing

We use the Langelier Saturation Index to balance water for comfort, clarity, and surface protection—avoiding scale, corrosion, and unnecessary chemical swings that shorten the life of finishes and equipment.

Circulation & Filtration

Attention to detail matters. Many of the ‘hopeless’ pools we are called to recover fell into disrepair because equipment settings were misconfigured. B&B stewards verify equipment settings weekly and upload the readings to the Splash Zone.

Surface & Debris

Skimming, brushing, and vacuuming are the core of any pool-cleaning visit. Chemistry is only half the battle. Your steward also scrubs every pool surface to break up the protective mucilage layer that can shield algae and to keep debris moving toward the skimmers and filtration system.

Service Two

Aquatic Revival

There are a surprising number of distressed pools in San Antonio and the surrounding communities, and it is usually not for lack of care or concern. BNB uses specialized equipment and training to diagnose and treat pools that have ‘gone green.’ Simply throwing chlorine into the water is usually not the answer.

Diagnosis

Water can deteriorate for many reasons. Most problems fall into one or more of seven categories: biological, chemical, hydraulic, filtration, mechanical, structural, or operational. Step one is identifying the actual cause. The diagnostic fee is credited toward the cleanup when BNB continues the work.

Property Readiness

Ironically, vacant homes that remain on the market for extended periods are often more difficult to maintain than many people expect. Real estate professionals and owners with vacant listed properties can contact us for special pricing.

Post-Storm Recovery

Most pool debris is pulled through the pump and then either captured by the filter or discharged to waste. In either case, it must pass through the skimmer, suction lines, and pump—creating the risk of costly damage if debris becomes lodged or a line fails. For hazardous cleanup jobs, we use standalone vacuums and robotic equipment that remove debris without jeopardizing the pool's circulation equipment or plumbing.

Green-to-Pristine

Many owners assume a distressed pool must be drained before it can be restored. That is usually not true. We can often return a pool to a sanitary, clear condition within days without spending $1,000 or more to refill it.
